What is ergonomics?
Ergonomics is the adaptation of work to man. When the work is to be adapted to the employees in the company it is important to take into account the muscles and joints. By planning the work correctly you can minimize the risk of back injuries and other damage to muscles and bones, by avoiding heavy lifting and inappropriate postures among other things.According to the “Handbook – Work Environment in Construction” by the Branch Work Environment Council for Construction from 2016, ergonomic planning mainly deals with three factors:
- The workplace must be arranged to suit the individual employee.
- Machines and work tools must fit both the work and the person who will perform the work.
- Use ergonomically designed tools and technical aids. It increases safety and reduces the damage.
Therefore, counseling and sparring with the customer is the key to success. What goods are to be handled? How much do they weigh? How big / small are they? Who should handle them? Do they have to be handled manually or automatically? At what height should they be handled? These are just a few of the many questions that you have to decide whether it is a 5 kg cardboard box that needs to be handled or a 12-ton module house.
With our own production we customize ergonomically designed solutions to suit the employee who will perform the work, no matter what industry you are working in.
